About Me

I am currently a Senior Researcher at Huawei Singapore Research Centre, working with Prof. Hanwang Zhang on multimodal foundation models and their unification across vision and language tasks.

Previously, I was an Algorithm Researcher at SenseTime, focusing on 3D generative AI and low-level vision.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science (2019-2023) from the College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore During my PhD, I was affiliated with MMLab@NTU and S-Lab, under the supervision of Prof. Chen Change Loy and Prof. Chai Kiat Yeo, and worked closely with Prof. Bo Dai. I received my B.Eng in Chemical Engineering (2011-2015) and M.Comp in Computer Science (2017-2018) both in National Univerisity of Sinapore (NUS).

My research interests include generative AI—particularly image synthesis, multimodal foundation models and the intersection of vision and language

I serve as a reviewer for CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, and NeurIPS.
